Frequently Asked Questions

*If you contact us within 7 days of delivery, we would be happy to refund or exchange items that are in its original condition. But, please let us know before you send them so that we can look out for the returned item.
*In order to receive a refund, you must ship the item back to us within 14 days of it being delivered to you. We can only issue you a refund after you have returned the item and it is back in our possession, never before then.
*Custom orders are non-refundable, unless they arrived to you damaged or defective. The buyer is responsible for return shipping cost. Please package returned items carefully. If the item is not in the same condition as when we sent it out, the buyer will only receive a
partial refund. All items returned must be undamaged, unused, and include all parts . We do except cancellations, but only if we’re contacted within 1 hour of your purchase.
*Bridgette Hart is not responsible for paying for any VAT, fees, duties, customs or import taxes that may apply to international orders. These are collected by the buyers country, therefore we cannot legally pay for, or include them in your order.
*If they apply to your order, the buyer will have to pay for them separately upon arrival. Please consult your government website for importing goods from abroad for more information and to calculate how much tax may be due.
*We also are not responsible and have no control over how long it takes to get through customs.
*Please refrain from asking us to mark a package as a “gift” in order to avoid paying taxes or fees. We also cannot devalue an item on a customs form in order for taxes or fees to be lowered. Both of these actions are considered mail fraud, and are illegal. They could be punishable by large fines and jail time, therefore we would never want to put ourselves, or our customers at risk.
*All orders are shipped within business 1-3 business days of payment. Please allow an additional day for customized orders. Once shipped, most domestic orders take anywhere from 2 to 10 business days to arrive depending on the efficiency of your local postal service. We use USPS First Class Mail, which usually has an arrival time of 2-3 days, but it does depend on the postal service.
*If you would like to purchase postal insurance for a $2 fee, please let us know at checkout. We’ll then send you an invoice for the insurance fee amount that will have to be paid BEFORE we ship your items.
*When applicable, only the initial (U.S) shipping is free. If you would like to make a return, the buyer would then be responsible for any cost associated with return shipping.
*Rush shipping is unfortunately, only available for U.S. customers at this time. Please let us know if you would like to be upgraded to priority mail shipping in a note at checkout, for a small fee.
*Rush orders do not affect the stated processing time.
*Orders are shipped to the address that the buyer selects at checkout. Please make sure this address is correct. We cannot accept refunds on items that were sent out for delivery and arrived at the wrong address, provided that
that was the address given by the customer.
*Once your order has shipped, you will receive a USPS tracking number.
*Once packages ship and leave Bridgette Hart’s possession, we are no longer responsible for them. If your package was lost or stolen in the mail, you must call USPS to get the matter resolved.

To keep your jewelry looking it’s very best, never submerge it in water. This includes showering, swimming, or washing hands. When not being worn, store it in an airtight container or baggy to prevent tarnishing and preserve the plating. Also avoid contact with perfumes, lotions, hair products, and other chemicals. Remove it when sleeping, and keep it away from direct heat. Occasionally use a polishing cloth to shine.

Unfortunately at this time, we do not ship to the European Union. Hopefully we will be able to expand our business soon so that we will be reach our EU customers. 

Please note that products are sent out only after payment has been cleared.
We are based in Maryland, USA.
Every Quarter (3 months), 5% of each purchase and $1 per email subscription is donated to Mental Health America. Mental health is very important to us, and we find joy in being able to donate part of sales to help raise awareness to such a worthy cause. 
Donations through sale of products are not tax deductible for consumers. 
Only if your order is shipping to Maryland, USA. In that case, a 6% sales tax will be added at checkout.
We do offer gift wrapping. If you’d like, you can choose that option on each product page for a $3 fee.
